Shift slider expectations

When using the shift slider (value 100%), the fixtures nicely space themselves between the points. But when using the sub-grouping options, you can't get the fixtures to fully spread between all points. See screenshots. Is this intentional or could this be fixed?

We just checked.
With "Sub-groups" set to "4 points" and the shift slider to 100% the fixtures fully spread between the 4 points here.
Could you please post a video showing the problem ?

With points I mean the yellow dots (1 & 2 in screenshot), not the squares. I kinda expect when setting the slider to full, the squares are fully spread between the yellow dots. I even expect it to spread between 1, 2 and back to 1 again so there is a fully continues loop.

The "shift" slider is to define a movement delay between the the square white dots.
To spread the yellow round dots, you have to use the "Fan point" menu.

However, you need more than two selected fixtures (yellow dots) for the other fixtures to be spread from the first to the last.

Thank you for the answer.
I think you misunderstood me. I not want to create a static effect. I want to create a dynamic effect where the pan/tilt is moving in lets say 4 subgroups. I would expect that the 4 subgroups are evenly spread when setting the shift slider to full, just as when u don't use subgroups - they are evenly spread (a whole loop p1 > p2 > p1) see screenshot 2.
The subgroups are grouped together, see screenshot 1.You see at the top that there are 4 squares almost together. I would expect with a full shift slider, they are just as spread as the screenshot 2.
Hope this makes sense to you
