Hello All,

So I read the FAQ and am missing a step somewhere.

I found my fixture here: before_2025_10_10/uking_zq01082

If I save as txt - Import sees the file - but Importing does nothing I can see
If I save as XML - then import does not see it

Do I need to convert XML to Text?

thanks in advance

-matt

When I save as XML or TXT ... the file content looks like this. This is not like other fixture files I see in the folder
C:\Program Files\ShowXpress\TheLightingController\editor_fixtures_bank\UKing

Hello,

We have two software versions: TheLightingController Classic (V9) and TheLightingController II.
Each version has its own forum: https://thelightingcontroller.com/

The fixture library formats are different.
TheLightingController Classic (V9) uses TXT files.
TheLightingController II uses XML files.

Please let us know which software you are using, and we will provide you with the appropriate library.

Hello,

I'm also having the same issue as Matt Carlsen. I'm trying to import the Ovation B-565. I noticed the ShowExpress file from the Chauvet website is in .txt as well. So i converted it to .xml for The Lighting Controller II. But like Matt said, it doesn't look like the other .xml files which were already loaded in the software. When running the software, I'm able to locate the Ovation B-565, but it's empty without any parameters.

Let me know how to import the new fixture.

Hello,

The fixture profiles available there are exclusively for our V9 software (The Lighting Controller Classic).

Could you please post your fixture profile request here: viewforum.php?f=33

Please follow these instructions when submitting your request: viewtopic.php?t=28

The person in charge of fixture profiles will then create it for you as soon as possible.
