version 0.1.38 - error message "efk_Library not found" [fixed]

I am trying to run TLC II on my HP, and get the error efk_usb library not found! I have attached a screenshot.

I am on windows 11, currently up to date. I have the VC redistributable package installed, TLC is installed on the default C: drive location, I have the USB drivers downloaded and installed to my Xpress512 which V9 can see and interact with, and everything else is up to date. I am on the latest version of the software that downloads from the link. I am unable to move past the screen and TLC closes itself if i click anywhere on it.

I'm on a HP workbook, Intel ultra 7 255U processor, Intel Graphics software, 32 GB DDR5 Ram, and am the admin account.

Please advise how to move forward.

Thank you!

Hello,
Thank you for this clear report.
There is effectively a problem with this new version.
Sorry for that.
We put back the previous version (0.1.37) on line.
And we will work on that problem.

Hello,

We will put on line a new version which fixes this problem asap. In the meantime, if you unzip this file: https://download.thelightingcontroller. ... ftd2xx.zip
and you add the file "fdt2xx.dll" in the folder of the software, the new version 0.1.38 will work

Actually
The previous software version 0.1.37 is here: https://download.thelightingcontroller. ... indows.exe
The new software version 0.1.38 is here: https://download.thelightingcontroller. ... _v0138.exe
The missing file for v0.1.38 is here: https://download.thelightingcontroller. ... ftd2xx.zip
